Volunteering for a project is EASY!

1. Check the Calendar of Events on the Home Page.

2.  Find a service project you want to volunteer to support.

3.  Contact the contact representatives for the project who are responsible for the project.  Make sure the project is still happening, they still need volunteers, and confirm the basic information (project date, time, location, supplies needed to bring, rain date policy, service hour verifyer, etc).

4.  Show up and help the project.  We recommend you bring a digital camera to document your work, and make sure you have your school's paperwork to have signed at the event to prove your service hour work.

5.  If you can't make it for any reason and you have already told the project contact person that you would be coming, be sure to contact them to let them know you won't be there.  It can be very frustrating, and disastrous for a project, for a project coordinator to expect volunteers to come help, and then nobody shows up.  Please be courteous.  Follow through with your committments.
